It can be running at your own pace, sharing a conversation while moving alongside someone, or following your instincts and running freely. Each of these moments represents an important part of what running means to us.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eYokosaka’s artwork is filled with free and imaginative ideas born from childhood memories and a playful spirit. His unique world evokes the pure feeling we had as children, when we were completely absorbed in races, games of tag, and simply running for the joy of it.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThrough this collaboration, featuring artwork inspired by the transforming robots he was fascinated by as a child, we express our vision:\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e“Make running more free. Currently based in Tokyo.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eInspired by the techniques of cel animation, Yokosaka creates works by layering illustrations drawn on transparent film over painted canvas backgrounds.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eHe presented this approach in 2021 at \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cem\u003e\u003cspan\u003eTokyo Motor Pool 1.5\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cspan\u003e.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eUsing motifs rooted in his own formative experiences, he continues to explore immersive forms of expression through his artwork.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e\u003chr\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003ch1\u003e\u003cspan\u003eWhy We Chose Four-Color Separation Printing\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/h1\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eFor this collaboration, we selected a silkscreen four-color separation printing technique, layering each CMYK plate one color at a time.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eAlthough this method requires considerable time and craftsmanship, the careful layering process creates rich colors, delicate gradations, and allows the intricate details of the artwork to be reproduced beautifully. Its exceptional durability is another unique advantage of this technique.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eIn contrast, inkjet printing applies ink directly onto fabric without the use of printing plates. While it is suitable for small production runs and shorter lead times, the texture and character of the finished print are different.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eOur goal was not simply to print a graphic, but to deliver the colors, depth, and texture that define Tatsuya Yokosaka’s artwork as faithfully as possible.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eNot just printing the artwork, but delivering the artwork itself.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThat is why we chose four-color separation printing.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e\u003chr\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003ch1\u003e\u003cspan\u003eHigh-Performance Quick-Drying Fabric\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/h1\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eWe use AIR DOTT® mesh fabric featuring excellent breathability and made with COOLMAX® EcoMade fibers from Lycra.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eCOOLMAX®’s uniquely shaped fibers enhance capillary action, quickly drawing sweat away from the skin and dispersing it across the surface of the fabric.
